Bio

Richard has a First-class Masters Degree (M.Chem) from Merton College, Oxford where he was a Postmaster Scholar and was awarded the Exxon Mobil Award for excellence in physical chemistry. Following Oxford, Richard spent two years working for management consultancy Booz and Company involved initially in strategy across the financial services, energy and retail sectors before focusing on telecommunications, media and technology. In 2011 Richard moved to Liberty Global, the leading international cable company at their Content Division, Chellomedia, working on mergers and acquisition (M&A) and strategy projects culminating in the sale of Chellomedia to AMC Networks for $1bn in October 2013. Following the sale, Richard became part of the founding team targeting strategic content investments for Liberty Global. He worked on the joint acquisition of All3Media with Discovery Networks from Permira before moving to Azini Capital Partners in June 2014.
