Bio

Mr. Skaff draws upon fifteen years of operational, transaction and senior management experience as a principal and advisor. Mr. Skaff has held senior management positions with privately held companies, advised the principals of middle-market firms regarding acquisitions, divestitures and other corporate finance transactions, and invested in several privately held companies as a principal. While many of his operational activities have centered around the healthcare industry, his experience covers a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing (automotive and non-automotive), distribution, service, information technology, healthcare and consumer products. Prior to forming Seneca Partners, Mr. Skaff served as a Managing Director of Manchester Capital, an investment and merchant-banking firm specializing in middle market merger, acquisition, divestiture and other corporate finance transactions. He has also consulted for a number of other firms as a key strategic and financial advisor. Prior to joining Manchester, Mr. Skaff was Vice President of Home Care Operations for MedMax, Inc. a specialty healthcare products business, where he initiated and consummated strategic relationships with integrated health systems and third party payers and led several successful corporate development initiatives for the Company, including strategic acquisitions and product line divestitures. From 1992 through 1997, Mr. Skaff served as Chief Executive Officer for Detroit Oxygen and Medical Equipment Co., Inc. and DOME Infusion Therapy Services, providers of home medical equipment, respiratory therapy and home infusion services. During this period, he also served as a founding board member of two innovative PPOs, which managed over 300,000 covered lives within 2 years. Previously, Mr. Skaff spent three years with the Midwest Corporate Finance Practice at PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLC, where he advised clients on acquisitions, divestitures and financings and led numerous business reviews and due diligence assignments. Mr. Skaff currently serves as a Board advisor for three suppliers to the automotive industry and an advisory board member to 5nQ, Inc., a supplier of innovative inventory management applications serving hospitals. Mr. Skaff earned both a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Mathematics and a Masters in Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan. He is proficient in French and actively participates in a variety of sports, including running, swimming, golf and squash.
