Steve Williams

Bio

Steve Williams is an Operation Manager at Almaz Capital. He is responsible for directing operational systems, processes and policies in support of the Almaz mission — specifically, to optimize management reporting, information flow between limited partners and the Firm, business process and organizational planning. In this role, he collaborates with portfolio executives, legal and tax representation (both US and abroad) and Almaz Capital’s internal fund accounting team. In addition, Steve leads outreach and relationship management of Eastern European-focused incubators and accelerators located in Silicon Valley. Steve is a seasoned finance operations professional with over 13 years of experience working with institutional investors. He worked previously at Artisan Partners on their Global Equity Strategies team, and before that, was with the Merrill Lynch Private Banking and Investment Group. Steve earned his BA in Rhetoric from the University of California, Berkeley.
