Bio

Mr Liddy joined Clayton Dubilier & Rice Ltd in January 2008. At the request of the US Secretary of the Treasury, Mr Liddy served as interim chairman and chief executive officer of American International Group Inc from September 2008 to August 2009. Mr Liddy served The Allstate Corporation for many years as chairman and chief executive officer and other senior executive positions, leading the initial public offering and 1995 spin-off of the company from Sears, Roebuck and Co. and guiding Allstate through this transformation. Previously, Mr Liddy served as senior vice president & chief financial officer and senior vice president-operating of Sears, Roebuck and Co, and as chief financial officer of G. D. Searle & Co. He is a director of 3M Company and Boeing. He currently serves as chairman of ServiceMaster and US Foodservice. He is chairman emeritus of Northwestern Memorial Hospital and serves on the boards of Northwestern University and the Museum of Science and Industry. Mr Liddy holds a BA from Catholic University of America and an MBA from George Washington University.
