Mr Christopher Akelman is responsible for deal execution and the management of private equity investments within the consumer and retail industries for GB Merchant Partners, Gordon Brothers Group’s Investment Management Affiliate. Prior to joining GB Merchant Partners in 2011, Mr Akelman was an investment banking analyst at Barclays Capital in the Global Consumer Group where he worked on a number of strategic and leveraged buyout transactions. BA in Economics from Brown University.
