Joined Apax Partners in May 2002. He is a member of the media team. Prior to joining Apax Partners was CFO and general manager for strategy and corporate development at Grupo Prisa. He has actively participated in Grupo Prisa’s development during the last twelve years, helping it to become the largest Spanish media group. In 2000 he led the IPO process of the Group. He joined in 1990, as the CFO and has also taken responsibility for human resources and IT. during that time. Began his career in 1978, in Dresdner Bank AG (Germany). In 1982 he joined the group Banque Nationale de Paris (BNP) in Spain, where he held several positions during 9 years. Holds a degree in Business Administration from UAM (Universidad Autónoma of Madrid) and a MBA from IESE (Barcelona).
