Bio
Mr Nicod is currently the Managing Partner of ViPartners and is the co-founder and Chairman of Le-Shop, the first online supermarket in Switzerland. Before creating Le-Shop SA, Alain Nicod gained experience as an auditor at Arthur Andersen & Co, as a consultant at McKinsey & Co. and as an entrepreneur in various startup companies. Mr Nicod has a hands-on experience in the set up of services in electronic communications. He has worked on leading projects in the field of Internet and Interactive Television. He has also served as a consultant to branded goods manufacturers for the definition of their distribution and trade terms strategies. Mr Nicod is an investor in a large number of startups. Mr Nicod holds a BA from the University of Lausanne and an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau.
