Bio

Amir joined SIG and formed Susquehanna Growth Equity in 2006. He focuses on investments in transaction processing and software. Amir also oversees SIG’s broader private equity investing activities in the United States, Europe, and Israel. He currently sits on the boards of CashEdge, Plimus, MediMedia Information Technologies, and NetformX. Amir brings 15 years of technology investing experience to SGE. He previously led growth investments in financial technology and software at TL Ventures and BRM Capital. He was also an investment banker at Robertson Stephens where he was involved in several public offerings and M&A transactions. Amir has extensive experience helping international companies penetrate the North American marketplace. His previous investments include Kashya (acquired by EMC), Prosight (acquired by Primavera/Oracle), ClariFI (acquired by Standard & Poor’s), Whale Communications (acquired by Microsoft), and Crossworlds (NASDAQ, then acquired by IBM). Amir is on the faculty of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he is an adjunct professor and teaches entrepreneurial management to second year MBAs. Amir received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
