Leads GVP with extensive experience in entrepreneurship, technology and finance. Has raised funds for companies and advised on scores of M&A transactions in the US, Scandinavia and Europe advising companies, VC and private equity firms. Previously co-founded and led The Global TeleExchange (The GTX), a 90-person (PSTN-VoIP) telecom minutes exchange. Also founded the European operations acting as General Manager EMEA for a venture capital backed vendor of VoIP software and equipment - Sentito Networks (acquired by Verso Technologies). Has received and reviewed over 500 business plans from technology companies seeking to raise venture capital funding and developed strong relationships with most active technology VC funds in North America, the UK, Scandinavia and Europe with a few select funds in Asia. Began his career in New York City and Silicon Valley in the UNIX industry and remains equally active in North America and Europe. Is a regular public speaker on topics such as Venture Capital, M&A and specific technologies at conferences such as Red Herring / ETRE, Web2.0, Voice and Video on the Net (VON), Fixed Mobile Convergence, Wireless VoIP World, Telecom Finance, Femtocells World, Telecoms & Money, Carriers World, The Wireless Event and UpLoad. BA in Politics and French and German literature from the University of Vermont. MBA in Finance from Georgetown University which he completed on scholarship.
