Mr. Abdo is responsible for leading the execution and negotiation of certain Gores acquisitions and divestitures in Europe. Prior to joining Gores, Mr. Abdo worked for Per-Se Technologies. Mr. Abdo began his career in 1986 with VERSYSS, where he held various sales and management positions. While at Gores, Mr. Abdo also previously served as CEO of Real Software, a GCP I portfolio company where he led a successful restructuring and turnaround of the business culminating in the acquisition of its largest local competitor, and as a senior member of Gores' operations team. Mr. Abdo also previously served as President and CEO of Select Business Solutions (formerly, Aonix) and Jamis Software (Pre-GCP I portfolio companies). Mr. Abdo serves on the Board of Directors of Avure Technologies and is Chairman of RealDolmen.
