Bill Rogers

Bio

Bill Rogers is a Managing Director of Hudson, with responsibility for both Hudson’s Energy Efficiency activities and European dealflow. He currently manages Hudson’s investments in Landis & Gyr and Green Campus Partners. Formerly, Mr. Rogers was a Director at Candover Partners (“Candover”), a leading private equity firm with offices across Europe and over $7 billion under management. While at Candover, Mr. Rogers developed and led the Clean Energy team, originating and diligencing deals across Europe and Asia in sub-sectors including wind, solar, carbon and energy efficiency. In addition, he executed six buyouts (valued between $200 and $3,500 million) and served on the board of two of these companies. Prior to working at Candover, Mr. Rogers was an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company, an international management consulting firm. He provided strategic, corporate finance and operational advice to leading private equity funds and major multinationals in sectors including Energy and Financial Services. His experience also includes two years of technology investing with Vesta Group. Mr. Rogers holds a Masters of Engineering from Cambridge University.
