Ms. Shetty was head of the Financial Structured Products and Financial Services practice at Canaccord Adams, a North American mid market investment bank with operations in the UK, where she was primarily responsible developing and supervising the firm’s equity raising activities for domestic and foreign asset management companies and mid-market financial services companies. She was formerly a Director at CIBC World Markets, and held positions Merrill Lynch and Hovde Financial, all focusing on financial institutions investment banking. Over her 15 year career, Ms. Shetty has gained extensive global capital markets experience, having facilitated initial public offerings, private equity placements and strategic advisory assignments on behalf of financial services corporations worldwide. Bina N. Shetty joined Milestone Advisors, LLC in April 2009 as a Managing Director focused on west coast and Canadian clients, with a concentrated effort on regional bank and thrift and asset management sectors. Prior to joining Milestone, Ms. Shetty received a B.B.A. with concentration on Finance and Accounting from the George Washington University School of Business & Public Management.
