Biswajit A Subramanian

Bio

Bis Subramanian is a managing director based in our New Delhi office and leads the firm’s Indian private equity investment activities. Mr. Subramanian is currently a director of Aditya Birla Telecom Limited (Indus Towers), Idea Cellular and UMI. Before establishing our New Delhi office in 2007, Mr. Subramanian was based in our London office. Prior to joining Providence in 2000, Mr. Subramanian was a vice president at Morgan Stanley, where he was part of the European telecommunications investment banking team. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Mr. Subramanian worked at Credit Suisse First Boston, McKinsey & Company and Intel. He received a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a bachelor’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology.
