Bob Zieserl

Bio

Mr Zieserl joined KB Partners in July 2000 as a Managing Director, and is involved in all aspects of the firm’s operations and investing activities. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Mezzia Inc, Sarvega Inc, and Ischemia. Prior to joining KB Partners, Mr Zieserl was a co-founder and Managing Director of Gray Drake Partners, a Chicago-based firm providing financing, strategy, and merger-and-acquisition services to communications and information technology companies. He was previously President and Chief Operating Officer of Software Development Systems Inc, (SDS) the market leader in development tools for building digital devices. Mr Zieserl successfully funded, grew, and ultimately sold SDS to Wind River Systems Inc (NASDAQ: WIND). Prior to his involvement with these companies, Mr Zieserl was a founder and Chief Executive Officer of TomTec Imaging Systems, a pioneer in three-dimensional ultrasound imaging for cardiovascular diagnosis and image management systems; President and Chief Operating Officer of Medicus Systems Corporation, a healthcare information systems firm where he lead a successful IPO; and Vice President /General Manager of Creare Inc, a leader in the real-time data acquisition and analysis market. Companies Mr Zieserl has led have received numerous awards including: Business Week 100 Best Small Public Companies, Forbes 200 Best Small Public Companies, and R&D 100. Mr Zieserl is active in a number of professional organizations including Chief Executives Organization (CEO), and World President’s Organization (WPO). He previously was a member of the Young President’s Organization (YPO) and Chairman of the Windy City YPO Chapter. He was a founding board member and mentor to the Chicago Chapter of the Young Entrepreneur’s Organization (YEO). Mr Zieserl received his Masters of Science degree in Management and Industrial Relations from Loyola University, Chicago and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marquette University.
