Bio

Brad Strader joined Google Ventures in 2011 as a Recruiting Partner, and helps our portfolio companies find and hire the right talent. During his time at Google, Brad has focused on technical recruiting, hiring hundreds of engineers across almost every area of the company and establishing new engineering offices in places like Seattle, Tel Aviv, Haifa and Tokyo. He moved to New York in 2007 to head up recruiting for Google's emerging offices and now splits his time between New York and Mountain View working closely with our portfolio companies. Brad graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Biochemistry and worked in science for six years before relocating to San Francisco and making the switch to recruiting. Prior to joining Google in 2004, he recruited for multiple startups along with companies like Macromedia and Charles Schwab.
