Brian Burns

Bio

Mr. Burns is a Managing Partner and co-founder of Grayhawk Capital. His prior venture capital experience was as Vice President of two venture capital firms, SunVen Capital and Anderson & Wells, and later, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of El Dorado, the venture arm of Pinnacle West Capital Corp. He began his business career at Arthur Andersen & Co. where he became Senior Manager in the Audit Division. Mr. Burns has served on the board of 16 privately held companies. A sample of prior successful investments includes: Carefx (acquired by Harris Corp), CellzDirect (acquired by Invitrogen), and Golf Now (acquired by Comcast). Mr. Burns holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Arizona State University and is a Certified Public Accountant. Current Boards: HOS, TM International and Small Box Energy
