Brian E Gannon

Bio

Mr. Gannon is a Managing Director and Founder of Dunrath Capital. Brian is recognized as a proven investor and operating executive with expertise in private equity, merchant banking and industry. Previously, Mr. Gannon was a Partner at various investment firms in Chicago. Primary investment segments include security, business services and technology. At these firms, Brian was actively involved in funding and building several businesses fulfilling roles ranging from board member to operating executive. Lead investment exits include three initial public offerings, four strategic or financial sales, three leveraged recapitalizations and one asset swap. Mr. Gannon has also worked at CS First Boston and William Blair & Company. Mr. Gannon started his career in the United States Marine Corps as an infantry officer. Mr. Gannon currently serves on several corporate boards, including ExaDigm, Critical Signals Technology, Quantum Secure and Arxan Technology. He is a board member of the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation (MCLEF) and a founding member of the Foundation's Midwest organization. MCLEF provides college scholarships to every child of Marine Corps and federal law enforcement personnel killed in action. Since 2001, MCLEF has provided over $26 million in college scholarships. Mr. Gannon graduated from Harvard Business School, First Year Academic Honors, with a Masters of Business Administration. He received a Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Notre Dame.
