Cedric L. Bobo is a Principal focused on U.S. buyout opportunities in the industrial and transportation sectors. He is based in Washington, DC. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Bobo was an Associate at DLJ Merchant Banking, the private equity arm of Credit Suisse First Boston. Previously, Mr. Bobo was an Associate at McCown De Leeuw & Company, a Menlo Park, CA-based leveraged buyout firm. Prior to that, Mr. Bobo was an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Mr. Bobo received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in mechanical engineering, summa cum laude, from the University of Tennessee.
