Bio

Mr Banks joined CD&R in 2006 after serving in numerous senior executive roles over nearly four decades at Wolseley plc, the world’s largest specialist trade distributor of plumbing and heating products to professional contractors. He served as chief executive officer from 2001 to 2006 and on the board of directors from 1992 to 2006. Mr Banks also served for twelve years as president of Wolseley subsidiary Ferguson Enterprises. He is a board member of Bunzl plc. He sits on the College of William and Mary Board of Visitors and is a member of the Board of Regents of Harris Manchester College at Oxford University Mr Banks is a graduate of Brown University.
