Bio

From 2004 to 2008, was a Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns and Head of International at Bear Stearns Asset Management with responsibility for leading and building all the non-US activities of the division. Also a member of the International Executive Committee of Bear Stearns. Before that, was CEO of the London-based $7 billion fixed-income investment management arm of the Julius Baer Group. Whilst there, successfully initiated and established the first hedge funds offered by Julius Baer. Previous affiliations include Chase Asset Management, where he was head of the EMEA business, Lazard Investors and Wellington Management. Amongst the many roles held over the past 21 years in financial services, has been a trustee of two pension funds, a director of a number of both public and private investments vehicles across several jurisdictions and a general partner of a technology focused private equity fund. Graduate of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (1981). Completed a business management programme at the University of Westminster.
