Appointed Chairman of Pradera Europe with effect from 1 January 2010, having been Chief Executive since 23 October 2006 and a Director since he joined Pradera in January 2000. In addition, is the Chairman of the Pradera Investment Committee, a Luxembourg Manager of all Pradera Funds and a Pradera Member on all Unitholder Advisory Committees. From 1996-1999, was the Director of Parkes and Company responsible for the European property investment activities of DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners, a US$660 million equity property opportunity fund raised and managed by Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (now part of Credit Suisse) in New York. Previously, worked for a subsidiary of the Lend Lease group of Australia, during which time was responsible for its investments in the out of town retail sector in France and for the origination of its Bluewater Shopping Centre project, then Europe’s largest regional shopping centre. In addition to 25 plus years experience in property investment management, worked for three years in the corporate finance department of Kleinwort Benson Ltd at the end of the 1980s. BSc in Estate Management from Reading University. MBA from INSEAD. Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
