Crystal Guerrero

Bio

Crystal joined SignalFire in 2017 to lead the development of SignalFire’s recruitment process and implementation program. Crystal works with founders, executives, and talent acquisition teams to devise comprehensive recruiting strategy, advise on systems development, and often rolls up her sleeves to do some good, old-fashioned recruiting and network building. Additionally, Crystal lends her culture-building skills to coordinate SignalFire’s team events, and develop programs that engage the team in meaningful volunteerism and philanthropic opportunities that service the community. Prior to SignalFire, Crystal led Recruiting at BetterWorks, where she successfully scaled the team from 6 to 90 people and implemented key talent and people operations initiatives, including the design and execution of customized recruitment plans, construction of internal interviewer training workshops, and implementation of a new employer branding. Crystal began her recruiting career at Riviera Partners, where for over 4 years she worked with a number of top venture-backed startups to build out their technical talent teams. Crystal held many key roles within the org, spanning full-desk technical recruiting, leading her to develop Riviera’s first Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) division/On-site deployment program, which gained tremendous traction in both pre-IPO and early-stage startups. Throughout her years of running successful RPO sprints, Crystal brought a consultative approach to advising teams, recruiting top talent, training and mentoring recruiters and executives on recruiting best practices. After the success in her previous roles at Riviera Partners, Crystal was hand-selected as project manager for RiviApps, Riviera’s internal and external suite of software tools. During this time she directed the project lifecycle for technology-driven initiatives from concept through rollout and contributed to the on-time release, change management, and integration of RiviApps solutions across 800+ client sites. Crystal earned her Bachelor’s from the University of San Diego in Mass Media and Communication while additionally focusing her studies on entrepreneurship.
