Bio

Mr Munson, President and a principal of Whitney Capital Company LLC, is responsible for the company's real estate development and acquisition activity, as well as property management supervision. Whitney Capital Company LLC specializes in the development, acquisition and financing of apartment properties, including affordable multi-family housing. Munson is also Chairman and a principal of Whitney Management Corp, an apartment management company based in Houston, Texas. Prior to his current position, Mr Munson was President and a principal of Related Residential Company from 1991 to 1995 and previously served as Executive Vice President and Director of Acquisitions as well as a shareholder of New York City based Related Capital Company from 1985 to 1991. Mr Munson currently holds an interest in 19 multi-family properties totaling 2,068 units, with a total market value of over $145 million, as well as 3 commercial properties with a market value totaling over $37 million. Mr Munson graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science degree and from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton Graduate School with a Masters degree in Business Administration.
