David Moross is the founder, chairman, and CEO of HighPost Capital where he is also the chairman of the Management Company and the Investment Committee. At HighPost Capital, David continues his pursuit of leading and forming a consumer-focused, top-tier investment firm of international caliber. A veteran investor with a specialty in private equity, David is a graduate of University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a BA in economics. Moross began his career in 1993 at Whitehall Financial Group, ascending to become a Vice Chairman of the firm. In 1998 he partnered with IMG’s Mark McCormack to build Sports Capital Partners, a pioneering platform for sports investment and institutionally managed sports media. Moross also formed Falconhead Capital, a private equity fund group where he also served as the Chairman of the Falconhead Charitable Foundation. Moross founded HighPost Capital in 2019. HighPost invests in the consumer sector focusing on sports, media, health, wellness, leisure, and lifestyle. Committed to giving back to the community and making meaningful contributions to social endeavors, David sits on the Development Board of the University of Texas and serves as a Trustee of the Silver Shield Foundation. He is a Trustee of the Weizmann Institute of Science and a Board Director for Centr, LLC. His past roles have included Board Director of the NY Fund for Public Health, a Board position at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and as Vice Chairman of the 2014 NY/NJ Super Bowl Host Committee.
