Mr. Quinlivan previously worked as the Senior Vice President, Finance at Insweb, a publicly traded online insurance marketplace. Prior to InsWeb David was an investment banker focusing on mergers and acquisitions at Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) in New York, NY and Palo Alto, CA. At CSFB David advised on domestic and international transactions totaling over $10 billion in the technology, consumer products, chemicals and paper products and manufacturing industries for clients such as Lycos, Bay Networks (now Nortel Networks), CompUSA, JCPenney, Bayer AG, and International Paper. Previously he worked at the LEK/Alcar Consulting Group, an international management consulting firm, providing strategic advice in the technology, media, healthcare and transportation industries for such clients as Universal Music, Honeywell, Disney, Siemens AG, Tektronix, Amoco Technology, Pacificare Health Systems and Continental Airlines. Mr. Quinlivan received his Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Harvard University and his Masters of Business Administration from Stanford University. Mr. Quinlivan also received a Masters of Science in the Physics doctoral program from the University of California, Los Angeles during which time he published research on the electrical properties of high temperature superconductors.
