David Pearson

Bio

David B. Pearson is a Managing Director in Carlyle’s Legal and Compliance group and focuses on fund formation and fund governance issues. Mr. Pearson is based in Washington, DC and is admitted to the bars of the District of Columbia and Virginia. Prior to joining Carlyle in 2000, Mr. Pearson was with the law firm of Latham & Watkins. Mr. Pearson is a director of America Scores, a nationwide nonprofit that sponsors inner-city afterschool programs. Mr. Pearson received a J.D. from the University of Virginia, where he was Editor in Chief of the Virginia Tax Review, and a B.B.A. in accounting from the College of William and Mary with a degree in accounting and has been a CPA.
