David A Willich

Bio

David A. Willich is a Principal responsible for Investor Services for Carlyle’s Japan buyout and Asia growth capital funds. He has been responsible for the Asia buyout funds and also held the position of Corporate Controller for Carlyle with responsibilities including financial reporting, internal controls and treasury management. He is based in Washington, DC. Prior to joining Carlyle in 2001, Mr. Willich served in several financial roles with Discovery Communications, most recently as Director, Finance and Business Operations for Discovery Health Media. Previously, he was a Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Washington, DC office. Mr. Willich received his M.B.A. from the University of Maryland and his undergraduate degree from Clemson University. Mr. Willich has been a CPA in the state of Maryland since 1987.
