Debra Pedersen is a Managing Director and Head of Investor Relations for Global Market Strategies. Ms. Pederson is based in New York. Prior to joining Carlyle, Ms. Pedersen was a Managing Director at Plainfield Asset Management, where she was responsible for marketing and investor relations for the firm's hedge funds. Prior to that, Ms. Pedersen was a Managing Director at U.S. Trust Company where she was the head of a team in their Family Wealth Management practice. Previously, Ms. Pedersen held positions at J.P. Morgan Investment Management as an energy analyst and at Morgan Stanley in Corporate Finance. Ms. Pedersen is a registered lobbyist in California. She currently holds Series 63 and 82 licenses. Ms. Pedersen is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and The Wharton School.
