Bio

Eric started his career in the technology industry in 1989 and spent 10 years innovating, developing, and marketing support related database and online publishing efforts for Ziff Davis’ PC Week, Powersoft Corporation and Electronic Book Technologies Inc. (EBT). At PC Week, Eric was instrumental in developing Ziff Davis' pioneering online services and was awarded the Ben Franklin Award for innovation and leadership. In 1993 Eric developed the Windows 3.1 Bible CD-ROM companion and the Powersoft Infobase, an award-winning, electronic technical support information product. In 1996 Eric founded Passport Express, a leading online travel business specializing in expediting passport and visa procurement. In 1998 Eric co-founded MyHelpdesk, Inc., an award-winning online computer help directory consecutively named to PC Magazine’s 'Top 100 Websites' (1999, 2000) and awarded the 2000 Service Innovation in Service Award by IT Support News. Eric holds a BA in Economics & Sociology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
