Bio

Professor of English Private Law at the University of Oxford and a Fellow of Lady Margaret Hall. He undertakes advisory work as a barrister on general commercial matters, particularly in the fields of contract law, restitution and professional negligence. Editor of Chitty on Contracts, general editor of Lloyd's Commercial Law Library and has written extensively in the fields of contract law, the law of restitution and commercial law.
