F Barron Fletcher

Bio

Mr. Fletcher has over 20 years of experience in private equity investing. As the founder of Parallel, he is the managing partner of the firm and currently serves as a member of the boards of Mealey's Furniture, Offshore Inland, Teavana, Trilogy, The Fragrance Outlet Inc. and USA Discounters. Prior to founding Parallel, Mr. Fletcher was a partner with Saunders Karp & Megrue, a $1.2 billion private equity firm focused on middle market, high growth consumer companies. As one of the original senior members of the SKM team from 1992 - 1999, he was integrally engaged in sourcing, executing and realizing returns involving nine of the firm’s portfolio companies. Prior to joining SKM, Mr. Fletcher was with Wasserstein Perella & Co., where he served in both the Merchant Banking and Mergers and Acquisitions departments. Before Wasserstein Perella, Mr. Fletcher was an analyst with Trammell Crow Ventures, specializing in real estate acquisitions and divestitures. Mr. Fletcher is a graduate of Yale University, where he received a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics.
