Member of the senior investment team responsible for sourcing, evaluating and completing new private equity primary fund commitments, secondary fund investments and direct co-investments, as well as managing fund investment relationships and portfolio construction. Prior to the founding of Conversus in June 2007, was at Bank of America (BAC) for over 11 years in the Funds Management Group, which managed BAC’s portfolio of private equity limited partnership investments. Has a wide range of corporate finance and management experience. Prior to joining BAC, was involved in international emerging markets as a manager of strategic planning at the Latin America division of Visa International. Earlier in his career, was a vice president of special assets at First Union Bank (Wachovia) where he was responsible for a portfolio of corporate loan workouts and restructurings. Started his career at Southeast Banking Corporation, where he was in the mergers and acquisitions advisory group and was a member of the merchant banking team that was responsible for private equity funds and mezzanine investments. Active in industry associations such as the European Venture Capital and Private Equity Association and was a past chair of the research committee of the Institutional Limited Partners Association. Master's Degree in Accounting. MBA from the University of Miami (Florida). CFA charter holder. Certified Public Accountant.
