Bio

Florian Almeling is a Managing Director of KPS Capital Partners and responsible for the European / German business development. The KPS Funds are private equity funds with over $2.6 billion of committed capital focused on constructive investing in restructurings, turnarounds, bankruptcies and other special situations. Prior to joining KPS in 2010 Mr. Almeling was a Senior Vice President at Sal. Oppenheim / Miller Buckfire and responsible for their German financial restructuring advisory group. He started his career in 1999 working for the M&A Group of Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt and London and he co-founded Alcosa Capital - a German special situations investor - in 2004. Mr. Almeling graduated from University of Bayreuth, Germany with a degree in business administration.
