Gary Robins

Bio

Gary is the visionary thinker behind Hotbed, which he founded in 2002. Gary developed the Hotbed business model to fill a gap in the market that he identified during his lengthy career in venture capital and private equity. He has extensive experience of managing and exiting private equity investments, from startups to MBO/MBIs, in a wide variety of sectors. He spent 14 years with 3i plc as an investment director in various UK locations and has been responsible for well over £100 million of equity investment and numerous profitable exits. His earlier career was spent in sales and marketing in the pharmaceutical sector with Eli Lilly & Co. Gary holds an MBA from Cranfield School of Management.
