Gary Sernovitz

Bio

Gary Sernovitz joined Lime Rock in 2004 and became a Managing Director in 2011 with responsibilities for the firm’s investor relations and business development efforts. Mr. Sernovitz’s role includes overseeing the firm’s fundraising, investor reporting and communications, limited partner co-investing, public relations, marketing, and internal firm strategic development efforts. He also works with Lime Rock Partners portfolio companies on strategic branding and marketing initiatives. He is based in Westport, Connecticut. Mr. Sernovitz has worked as an Associate in the Investment Research Department of Goldman Sachs covering the Latin American energy and chemical sectors and The Maloney Group, a boutique marketing consulting firm. He is also the author of two novels, Great American Plain and The Contrarians, both published by Henry Holt. Mr. Sernovitz is a graduate (B.A.) of Cornell University.
