Gillis S Cashman

Bio

Mr Cashman is focused on the telecom and media infrastructure portion of the firm's portfolio. Prior to joining M/C, he was with Salomon Smith Barney in the Global Telecommunications Corporate Finance Group, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions in the wireline and wireless segments of the telecommunications industry. Previous board seats include MCCC ICG Holdings (sold to Level 3), City Signal Communications (sold to Cavalier Telephone), Elantic Networks (merged with Cavalier Telephone), FDN Networks (merged with NuVox Communications). He also previously held a Board of Director observer seat at NuVox Communications and Telution (sold to CSG). Mr Cashman currently serves as the Chairman of Baja Broadband, on the Board of Directors of Cavalier Telephone, Zayo Group, CSDVRS, Corelink Data Centers and holds an observer seat at GTS Central Europe. Mr Cashman received an AB in economics with distinction, cum laude, from Duke University.
