Joined Barclays Bank Management Development program, working both in the UK and in Germany. Between 1993 and 1996 was seconded to BZW as part of the team chosen to set up a new sales and trading operation in Frankfurt. Joined Barclays Capital's leveraged finance team and was responsible for covering private equity investors in Germany. Joined Primary in 2001. Non-executive director of FoneStarz Media Group, Tobar Group and Paperchase Ltd. He represented Primary on the Shareholders' Committee of becom until its sale in July 2004 and was a non-executive director of The Works until its sale in April 2005. BA (Hons) in German and Spanish from Nottingham University. MBA from INSEAD.
