Bio

Prior to joining Providence in 2004, Mr Schwed was a managing director at Morgan Stanley Capital Partners and was chairman of the firm’s Global Emerging Markets Fund. Prior to Morgan Stanley, was a principal at Bassini, Playfair + Associates, an emerging markets private equity firm, and held several positions in the private equity and venture capital units of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Currently a director of MobileServ and TDC. Master of Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from Swarthmore College.
