Mr. Harshal Shah has been with Reliance Group since June 2005, is a member of its Senior Leadership Team. He founded the Group's corporate venture capital arm and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer, Reliance Venture Asset Management Ltd. He also is also the President of American Alumni Association of India, which he was elected to in 2010. With over 15 years of experience across technology, finance and marketing, Mr. Shah has been responsible for building Reliance Venture Asset Management into the top venture capital firm in India. Being stage-agnostic, geography-agnostic and sector-agnostic, its canvas includes some of the most successful start-ups in India. By incubating and or investing in start-ups through Reliance Venture Asset Management, Mr. Shah has built household names such as Yatra Online, India's largest online travel services company, which itself is today a $500 million plus company, Suvidhaa Infoserve, Scalable Display etc., and has forged alliances and investments in India, the US, Europe and the Far East. Under Mr. Shah, Reliance Venture Asset Management is now the exclusive India partner for the MIT $100K Entrepreneurship Competition and for Stanford's BASES Business Plan Competition as well.
