Henry Huey

Bio

Dr. Huey is a Principal, Technology for OnPoint. In this role he performs due diligence of potential deals including developmental progress, production plans and IP protection. Dr. Huey works closely with the commercial portable power industry to identify potential technology products that have good commercial prospects and fill an important need within the Army Dr. Huey has a diverse background that has been applied to a wide range of ventures. Most recently, Dr. Huey was Director of Product R&D at an optical network startup, Alidian Networks, which developed advanced optical switching systems. Dr. Huey spent five years with Lockheed Martin/Loral Western Development Labs in San Jose, California. At Lockheed Martin, Dr. Huey served as Chief Engineer working on a variety of R&D projects including a technical lead on the design of a multi-billion dollar, multi-service, broadband satellite venture known as Astrolink. Prior to Lockheed Martin, Dr. Huey worked with TRW on a variety of broadband electronics and switching systems opportunities Dr. Huey received his BSEE from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn, and his MSEE from UCLA. Dr. Huey was awarded his Ph.D. in EE from the University of Southern California
