Bio
Before co-founding SPC in 1996, he shared responsibilities for the management of private equity investments in consumer products companies with The Shansby Group. Earlier, Mr. Handley was a management consultant with Swander Pace & Company, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions and investment strategy. Mr. Handley serves as Chairman of GeniSoy Food Company, Inc., Fresh Food Concepts, Inc., Marketfare Foods, Inc., International Fiber Corporation, and ReNew Life Formulas, Inc., and is a Director of Bravo Sports and Gilchrist & Soames, Inc. Mr. Handley is the past Chairman of Totes Isotoner Corporation and Fleischmann's Vinegar Company, Inc. and past Director of Oregon Chai, Inc., Ethnic Gourmet Foods, Inc., and American Hard Cider Co. He received dual BA degrees with honors from Stanford University.
