Bio
Matt joined Ferghana Partners in 2005 and has been responsible for financial analysis and transaction coordination of both corporate finance and equity financing transactions in the pharma/biotech, medtech and diagnostic sectors. Before joining Ferghana, Matt worked at Adherex Technologies, a drug discovery and development company, managing the companyÕs intellectual property and as a drug development project manager. In this latter role, he was responsible for the development of the companyÕs lead oncology agent through to early clinical trials. Matt also worked at The Aurora Funds, a seed and early-stage venture fund, where he was part of the Life Science Investment team, evaluating investment opportunities and performing due diligence across all sectors of the health care industry. Matt has a BS in Anatomy and an MS in Experimental Surgery from McGill University, along with an MBA with a Concentration in Health Sector Management from Duke UniversityÕs Fuqua School of Business, where he was named a Fuqua Scholar.
