R. Patterson (Pat) Jackson is a Managing Director of Milestone Advisors. Mr. Jackson was the former CEO of Indymac Commercial Lending Corporation (ICLC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Indymac Bank, where he was responsible for the development, launch, and growth of the business into a leading nationwide small balance commercial and multifamily lending platform. Prior to starting ICLC, Mr. Jackson was the EVP/CEO of the Specialty Products Group containing the Home Equity Division, Home Construction Lending Division, and Financial Freedom Senior Funding Corporation. Mr. Jackson joined Indymac Bank in December 2003 as the EVP/CEO of Home Equity Division and led Indymac’s acquisition of Financial Freedom from Lehman Brothers. Following the acquisition of Financial Freedom, he served as its Chairman. Prior to joining Indymac in December 2003, he was President & COO of Unitek Miyachi Corporation, a global, diversified high-tech products company based in Southern California. While at UMC, Mr. Jackson successfully purchased two major competing North American and European companies to increase the company’s core business, resulting in increased market share and improved profitability. Prior to Unitek, he held a number of senior level positions with other companies, including Signet Scientific Company and Intecolor Corporation, a division of Rockwell Automation. Mr. Jackson has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina and an M.B.A. from Winthrop College, Graduate School of South Carolina. He holds an Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP) designation.
