Jacques du Preez

Bio

Jacques is the Chief Operating Officer of Mid Europa Partners. Prior to joining the team in 2009, he held the same position at Pond Venture Partners. Jacques is responsible for the investment process, investor relations and reporting, risk management, finance and operations. Previously he set up and ran ABS from 2001 to 2006, providing outsourced and back office services to multinationals, corporate venture funds and entrepreneurs. Before ABS he spent 10 years in accounting and finance at Accenture, PSI JET and Deloitte & Touche. Jacques qualified as a Charted Accountant with Deloitte & Touche and has an MBA with distinction from London Business School. Jacques has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of the Witwatersrand and Honours in Bachelor of Accounting Science from UNISA and is also a Chartered Management Accountant.
