Mr James Dworkin joined GB Merchant Partners, a Gordon Brothers Group company, in 2004. Mr. Dworkin has been a private equity investor since 1992 and has successfully invested over $350 million in 20 middle-market companies comprised of more than 35 individual acquisitions. From 1998 to 2002, Mr Dworkin was a Partner at Saunders Karp & Megrue ("SKM"), a middle-market investment firm managing over $1.5 billion and focused on retail and consumer products companies. While at SKM, Mr Dworkin was responsible for investments in Applied Technology Products and Kenny Industrial Services. From 1993 to 1998, Mr Dworkin was Managing Director of BT Capital Partners, Bankers Trust's private equity group. At Bankers Trust, Mr Dworkin was responsible for investments in Safety 1st, Navieras de Puerto Rico, Dominick's Finer Foods and Ralphs Supermarkets, among others. Mr Dworkin currently serves on the Board of Directors of Things Remembered and Grafton Fraser. Mr Dworkin received his BS from Georgetown University and his JD/MBA from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and Wharton School of Business.
