James R. Hedges, IV is the Founder, President, and Chief Investment Officer of LJH Global Investments, LLC, an alternative investment advisory firm based in Naples, Florida, and the Chairman of LJH Financial Marketing Strategies in Florida. Mr. Hedges graduated from Woodberry Forest School in 1985 and from Rhodes College in 1989 with a dual Bachelor of Arts in French and International Studies. While in college, Mr. Hedges' career began in the international sales department of Dunavant Enterprises, Inc., the world's largest private cotton merchant. Mr. Hedges also worked at the Chicago Board of Trade. He earned a Master of International Management with a focus on Finance from the American Graduate School of International Management at the Phoenix, Arizona Thunderbird campus. From 1991 to mid-1992, Mr. Hedges lived in Paris and served as Director of European Sales for J.D. Honigberg International, a Chicago-based global trading firm. Prior to founding LJH Global Investments, Mr. Hedges founded and served as Managing General Partner for Challenger Capital Management, L.P., a multi-manager private family partnership investing in various alternative investments. Concurrently, Mr. Hedges was associated with the economic research and consulting firm of A.B. Laffer, V.A. Canto & Associates in La Jolla, California.
