Jeffrey Maters

Bio

Jeff joined New World Ventures in 2008. Jeff brings a deep understanding of the venture capital process and has been involved in over 20 venture capital investments during his career. Jeff was previously with UBS Investment Bank’s Midwest Group, where he advised clients on a broad range of corporate finance and M&A transactions. Prior to UBS, Jeff was with BMV Capital, a venture capital firm focused on early stage technology, communications and media companies. Prior to BMV, Jeff was with the Lehman Brothers Communications Fund, an $800 million venture capital fund focused on the telecommunications sector. Jeff graduated with a B.S. in chemical engineering from the Johns Hopkins University and earned his M.B.A. with High Distinction from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
