Bio

Joined Englefield in early 2003 at the close of the first Englefield fund. Was recruited by Dominic Shorthouse and has worked closely with Mr Shorthouse and the rest of the Partners since that time. Has ten years of investment experience with a strong bias towards financial services and education and training. Has in-depth experience in sourcing / research, transaction execution, investment management / monitoring and exits. Prior to joining Englefield, was a Vice-President at Morgan Stanley Capital Partners ('MSCP') in London, the private equity arm of Morgan Stanley, joining in 2000. Before this role, was at McKinsey & Company for five years , and was a member of the financial services practice. At the start of his career spent two years in the life and non-life insurance operations of UAP, which is now part of AXA. Graduated from ESSEC in France, and MBA from the Wharton School. He is a certified French actuary.
