Bio

Mr. Shah joined Darby in 2004 is the Director of Fund Administration and Compliance with responsibility for all back office/administrative/reporting and compliance activities of a number of Darby's funds within the Mezzanine Finance, the Private Equity and the Fixed Income Groups. Prior to joining Darby, Mr. Shah worked as an Investment Accountant for close to 2 years at one of the largest service providers to the alternative investments industry, PFPC Inc., a unit of the PNC Financial Services Group. While at PFPC, he was responsible for the accounting and analytical work for a wide variety of funds and clients. He has extensive experience in dealing with the financial accounting and/or analytical issues of the alternative investments industry, regulatory requirements of various bodies related to the financial services industry, and worked with multiple, automated financial systems. His previous work experience was in Mumbai, India where he worked for leading public accounting firms and, in the course of his duties, worked with a broad range of industries and projects. Mr. Shah is a commerce graduate from Mumbai University and earned his MBA degree from the Concordia University Wisconsin. He is also a Level 2 candidate for the CFA designation.
