Jim Larocque is a Senior Associate with Global Infrastructure Buyout, focusing on investments in airports, energy, environmental services, telecommunications, water and waste-water sectors. Mr. Larocque is based in New York. Since joining Carlyle in 2006, Mr. Larocque has been actively involved with Carlyle’s investment in Synagro Technologies, Inc. Mr. Larocque is also a member of the transaction team that executed Carlyle’s announced acquisition of Park Water Company. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Larocque was with Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC in New York and Borealis Capital Corporation in Toronto. Mr. Larocque is an observer on the Board of Directors of Synagro Technologies. Mr. Larocque received a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Windsor and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
